Dave Varmint’s penchant for dressing up is a throwback to his former career as a mime artiste in Bogota. A lifelong fan of Blue Peter, he singlehandedly built the 10radio studio and transmitter entirely from old cornflakes packets, empty washing up liquid bottles and sticky back plastic. Dave is firmly of the opinion that ostriches make good pets for children and that crinkle cut chips were invented by Sir Clive Sinclair. At weekends, Dave likes nothing more than some quiet time at home in front of a roaring fire made from old socks and cowpats.
