This Sunday, the Varmints are delighted to announce the first show in what we hope will be a new series.  "Backstage" sees us moving from interviewing artists to talking to key industry luminaries who find, hone and then bring these artists to our attention.

Part one of the series finds us in the company of one of the UK's foremost promoters, Sue Williams from Frontier Promotions.  Sue was kind enough to give up some time just before Christmas and the final interview is a fascinating insight into the role of someone who has been instrumental in breaking some of the biggest selling and most critically acclaimed artists of the past couple of decades.

We also chat about how Sue became a promoter, her career in the music industry prior to this and her unique analogue recording studio, the Grange, run with her husband Dave Williams.
